It’s Game On for the 2023 Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge!

(Fort McMurray, AB, November 10, 2023) – The Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge is back for another year! The popular annual holiday season fun-filled hockey tournament returns to MacDonald Island Park from December 28-30, 2023.

On December 28 the Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge will open with a Skills Challenge, which is open to all registrants, and will conclude on December 30 with the medal presentation.

On December 27 as we kick off the tournament, all registrants and the community are invited to a free public skate with the Oil Barons from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Canadian Natural Arena 2 at MacDonald Island Park.

This year you can also stop by Guest Services at MIP to enter the draw for a signed 2023/24 Oil Barons Jersey and game tickets. Every participant registering for the Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge through early bird registration will automatically be entered into the random draw.

Registration information is as follows:

·       Early bird registration opens on November 13, 2023

·       Early bird registration deadline is November 27, 2023

·       Registration for the event closes on December 6, 2023
