Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC celebrates ten years in the Wood Buffalo region

(Fort McMurray, May 6, 2024) – For ten years, the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC has served as a hub for community recreation and connection. As the centre celebrates a decade in the community, the RRC is delighted to announce that CNOOC has renewed their partnership in the facility.

Officially opened in 2014, the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC provides a place for members of the Anzac community and beyond to gather, play and connect. To mark the tenth anniversary, the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC is hosting a day filled with free family fun and activities on Saturday May 25. As part of the festivities, CNOOC is sponsoring a free community BBQ for all attendees.

CNOOC has been a dedicated partner with the RRC through their partnerships at the CNOOC Field Houses 1 and 2 at MacDonald Island Park and through a variety of community event sponsorships including at the Inter Pipeline Fort McMurray Marathon, MacDonald Island Park Canada Day celebration, and the Baseball Canada Cup.
