(Fort McMurray, AB, July 16, 2014) - As part of their ongoing commitment to youth golf initiatives in the Wood Buffalo region, the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) would like to thank OTS for its continued support and partnership with Junior Golf Night and other youth golf opportunities at Miskanaw Golf Club.
On Monday evening at Junior Golf Night at Miskanaw Golf Club OTS representative John Keirstead presented a cheque for $6,500 to Chris McKenzie, Assistant Golf Professional for the RRC, as part of the ongoing partnership with OTS in youth golf initiatives at the club, including their third year of partnership for Junior Golf Night.
OTS was also a key partner in the recent RBC Aboriginal Youth Golf Clinic at Miskanaw Golf Club, providing 80 sets of clubs for the youth participants in the event.
“OTS is proud to support the Junior Golf program at Miskanaw Golf Club,” said John Keirstead, Business Development Manager of OTS Fort McMurray. “We are thrilled to provide opportunities for local youth to participate in the sport while building connections with adult golf mentors and their peers in a supportive and encouraging environment.”
